The Software QA Engineer role is key to delivering high quality solutions that unlock the potential of what’s possible with holographic content captured using our process. Through knowledge of the technology combined with a demonstrated ability to problem solve, you will work collaboratively with software developers and technical artists to assure delivery of robust systems, tools and SDKs that capture, process and make holographic video accessible across a wide and growing range of platforms.

Main Responsibilities

  • Create and execute test plans and procedures to validate functionality, compatibility and performance of holographic content across a range of devices and software platforms, including game engines such as Unity and Unreal Engine
  • Create and execute test plans and procedures for black box and regression testing of 3D content processing software tools and systems
  • Act on customer issue reports to reproduce bugs and to track and verify fixes
  • Document test results and performance metrics
  • Ensure that customer/partner requirements are integrated into the test approach

Required Experience and Qualifications

  • BS in computer science, computer engineering or related technical field desired
  • 1 year experience in a software QA, development, or technical support role
  • Familiarity with tools and techniques for computer graphics content creation and delivery (examples: Maya, Houdini, Nuke)
  • Experience with Visual Studio tools, especially TFS and/or VSTS
