Leidos has an exciting opportunity at Offutt AFB, NE for a VR Lab and Training Support Specialist to work alongside software engineers, program managers and customers to facilitate Virtual Reality training for 55 Operations and Maintenance Group personnel. The simulations lab provides single-user and multi-user training capability and requires sustained staffing to support local training programs. Candidates must already possess a TS/SCI security clearance with the ability to obtain a Polygraph.

Responsibilities: 

• Manage VR simulation lab space hardware and resources.

• Facilitate simulation use for instructors and students.

• Perform software updates and troubleshooting as needed.

• Coordinate simulations lab scheduling with Ground Scheduling offices to support unit training requirements.

• Document and report VR simulation usage metrics.

• Coordinate software beta testing with customer SME, and document feedback for quality assurance.

• Coordinate with IT support offices as needed to ensure sustained network connectivity in the simulations lab.

• Participate in 55 Operations Group Staff Assistance Visits as VR program representative (as required). 

• Provide VR simulations lab status reports to 55 WG.

• Assist OGT with coordinating and conducting annual Staff Assistance Visits (SAV) to OG Squadron

• Assist OGT with additional duties identified by the Director of OGT.

Qualifications:

• Current TS/SCI security clearance with ability to obtain Polygraph

• Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of experience in the following disciplines: computer simulations, virtual reality, software development or computer science. 

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in airborne ISR programs. RC-135 experience required.

• Previous training and/or scheduling background

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with VR hardware and software development processes
