Overview

The Princeton University Art Museum, one of the nation's preeminent cultural institutions in an academic setting, seeks applications for a casual hourly position to support the Museum's augmented-virtual reality presence. Reporting to the Associate Director for Communication and Information, the temporary virtual tour associate will maintain the content and general operations of the Museum's virtual tour processes.

Responsibilities

The Museum's Virtual Tour Associate will be responsible for the following:

* Supporting the Museum's initiative to produce and publish 360-degree tours of its downtown gallery exhibitions and other installations/objects as needed.
* Project manage augmented-virtual reality vendors and internal resources in support of the execution of current and future program development in this content arena, including managing the video editing process.
* Work with the Museum's Exhibitions and Gallery Coordinators to secure permissions.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

* Strong familiarity with 360, augmented, and virtual reality platforms and practices.
* Understanding of the Museum's augmented and virtual reality tone and brand voice.
* Excellent written communication skills.
* Strong project and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

* Minimum one year of augmented-virtual reality experience within an art or art historical context.
