**As** **a Virtual Reality (VR) Developer/Programmer** **your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:**

+ End-to-end VR programming with Unity of new optimized functional and aesthetic VR training/simulations from concept through design, develop, implement and test to deployment and maintenance while driving technical excellence of the experiences.

+ Write and maintain technical design and software system documentation.

+ Analyze and optimize systems as required, identify and proactively manage technical decisions, risks (bug fixes), actions and opportunities.

+ Collaborate with instructional designers/training teams/project/program managers and other roles on the team or with outsourced contractors domestically and internationally to imagine, build, and launch successful VR training solutions.

+ Work independently with ownership over the Unity codebase prototyping and features implementation.

+ Ensure scalable VR solutions that integrate with Intel training systems.

+ Launch or export VR resources onto VR platforms, primarily the HTC Vive.

+ Lead initiating code compliance/review/remediation in accordance with Intel Information Technology department cyber security policies.

**Qualifications**

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. **Position not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.**

**Minimum Qualifications:**

**Candidate must have one of the following:**

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering/Software Development, Mathematics, or related field with 3+ years' experience in the following:

+ Software development.

+ C# and development platforms (Unity, Unreal, etc.)

+ Analytical and coding skills, thorough working knowledge of software processes (development, configuration, testing and deployment)

+ Code control repositories like Gitlab or GitHub

+ Building VR apps for the Vive, Oculus, Pico and/or WMR platforms.

+ Core Unity concepts including component creation, animators, shaders, and performance profiling

Master's degree in Computer Science/Engineering/Software Development, Mathematics, or related field with 3+ years' experience in the following:

+ Software development.

+ C# and development platforms (Unity, Unreal, etc.)

+ Analytical and coding skills, thorough working knowledge of software processes (development, configuration, testing and deployment)

+ Code control repositories like Gitlab or GitHub

+ Building VR apps for the Vive, Oculus, Pico and/or WMR platforms.

+ Core Unity concepts including component creation, animators, shaders, and performance profiling

8+ years of experience in the following, in lieu of a degree:

+ Software development.

+ C# and development platforms (Unity, Unreal, etc.)

+ Analytical and coding skills, thorough working knowledge of software processes (development, configuration, testing and deployment)

+ Code control repositories like Gitlab or GitHub

+ Building VR apps for the Vive, Oculus, Pico and/or WMR platforms.

+ Core Unity concepts including component creation, animators, shaders, and performance profiling

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Experience:

+ Multiple programming languages (C/C#/C++/Java/Python/...)

+ Database integration (MySQL, Mongo DB or SQL Server)

+ Continuous integration/Continuous Delivery

+ Training development

**Working Model**

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. **In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.**
