NG is looking for a full-time Senior Engineer with a background in augmented reality to help develop and mature technologies for dismounted soldiers. This position will be an integral part of a team that helps bring advanced Situational Awareness (SA) capabilities to the Warfighter. Work will include solving key technical and physiological constraints with augmented reality systems, integrating other SA capabilities into the augmented reality space, and help design quantitative and qualitative test capabilities to determine the effectiveness of solutions.

The projects supported involve integrating real/simulated sensor imagery into augmented reality environments, measuring performance of augmented reality technology, conducting test that examine the cognitive processing of augmented reality information, conducting experiments with augmented reality/virtual reality displays, and conducting evaluations of physical or virtual sensor/display prototypes.

Minimum Requirements

  • A Bachelors Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM Degree) with a minimum of 9 years of applicable experience with a BS or 7 years with a MS

  • Experience with augmented reality development and/or test

  • Experience working directly with stakeholders to develop/test a product

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance

Desired Requirements

  • Experience with augmented reality software development

  • Experience using Unity Real-Time Development Platform

  • Experience managing hardware/software "in the field" to include establishing offsite/remote technology configurations and running live demonstration/test events

  • Experience with user experience design principles

  • Experience with experimental research or data analyses

  • an active DoD Secret Security Clearance

Salary Range: $108,600 USD - $163,000 USD
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
