This individual could be involved across many aspects of architecture, design, build, engineering and implementation of technical solutions and capabilities providing technical leadership for Horizon VDI team.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Architect and implemented medium to large scale secured multi-pool Virtual Desktops and RDSH Application Infrastructure
• Expert knowledge on App Volumes and Instant Clone technologies
• Experience with VMware vSphere stack (vCenters, ESXi Hosts, Snapshots
• Experience with Multifactor Technologies (SAML, PING, vIDM & OKTA)
• vRealize Automation Suite consisting of vRA/vRO
• Proven ability to Independently lead and complete design and architecture for business use cases.

Required Qualifications:

• 2.5+ years of design and implementation of Virtual Desktops and all the necessary components needed (vSphere, Horizon, App Volumes, User Environment)
• 1.5+ years of experience with VMware and vSphere and Hypervisor technologies
• Experience with designing and managing 1000+ Virtual Desktops
• If you need to enter a work site for any reason, you will be required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener. When in a UnitedHealth Group building, employees are required to wear a mask in common areas. In addition, employees must comply with any state and local masking orders
