Title: Sr. AR/VR IT Product Manager

The opportunity:

The Sr. XR IT Product Manager is responsible for the acceleration and expansion of the application of augmented and virtual reality (AR/VR) capabilities across the organization, working closely with our customers, business stakeholders and development teams to identify, develop and bring to market new, AR/VR products and solutions. Leveraging an entrepreneurial mindset to create and implement services the Sr. XR IT Product Manager will respond to the organizations evolving needs, drive new, ambitious AR/VR applications that will be industry defining with high energy and execution focused. In addition, the Sr. XR IT Product Manager will oversee strategic and tactical activities in a very high impact, high velocity environment and drive sustained value.

How you will impact WestRock:

  • Set the short-term and long-term visions and strategy for AR/VR products and solutions.

  • Partner with customers, business partners, commercial excellence, and digital teams to bring product and customer innovations to life through prototyping and piloting.

  • Perform market, pricing, and profitability analyses which will be used to recommend strategies that will improve financial performance, enhance market position, and enable cost reduction.

  • Gather data and intelligence to inform the development of the AR/VR product roadmaps.

  • Collect and analyze feedback from customers, stakeholders, and other teams to shape requirements, features and end products.

  • Represent the voice of our internal stakeholders and/or external customers throughout the development process.

  • Lead product managers and coordinate with internal partners.

  • Serve as a product evangelist at all levels within and outside of the organization.

  • Prepare effective leadership presentations and attends various strategic meetings.

  • Deliver AR/VR projects prioritization approach across the organization.

  • Shape, share and display the behaviors that will enable an innovative culture.

What you need to succeed:

  • Bachelors degree in business, technology, or equivalent experience.

  • 8+ years of strategic IT product management, augmented and virtual reality experience.

  • Passion for conceiving, generating, and designing useful, innovative products and capabilities.

  • Experience identifying various business problems or product opportunities and recommending creative solutions.

  • Experience consulting business stakeholders in Digital Transformation efforts that involve significant organization, process, and technology change.

  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem solving, and decision-making skills.

  • Experience communicating effectively across all levels of the organization.

  • Ability to deliver results in an evolving, fast paced, and global environment.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail.

  • Track record in leading and aligning cross functional teams (IT and Business) in cross- domain solutions

  • Excellent communication skills to articulate the solution vision to senior leadership

  • Technology savvy with emerging technologies

  • Professional proficiency with the MS suite of products (Word, Excel, PPT, Visio, Project)

  • Being self-directed, fast-paced, collaborative, and results-oriented

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills and ability to work effectively in a global enterprise.

  • Ability to work under tight deadlines at a fast pace.

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to travel approximately 25%
