What You Will Be Doing Our Virtual Prototyping group is an advanced visualization provider of Modeling and Simulation (M&S) services and solutions to Lockheed Martin Corporation and its customers worldwide. Through the power of advanced visualization, Virtual Prototyping helps people understand complex systems and ideas by "bringing concepts to life," allowing for better, faster decision making and, ultimately, assisting programs in winning new business and performing on existing programs. As someone fluent in programming for rapid software prototyping development, you may find yourself on any given day integrating code into 3D applications including gaming technologies, augmented reality, virtual reality, and other real-time simulation tools.
Beyond that, you may also find yourself:
• Impacting a wide variety of different projects and programs, classified and unclassified, within the Skunk Works, including but not limited to major LM-Aero programs (F-35, F-16, F-22, C-130, U-2, etc.)
•Collaborating with Presenting to work with the Virtual Prototyping software development team on real-time 3D M&S applications and other software development tasks. • Leveraging gaming technology and techniques to develop bespoke capabilities to meet the needs of Lockheed Martin Aeronautics. Basic Qualifications:
• Programming and scripting experience in C++, C# and/or other coding languages.
• Experience with real-time 3D tools including game engine programming experience such as Unity or Unreal.
• Project management experience.
Desired Skills:
• Modeling & Simulation Experience - Presagis suite (Vega Prime and Creator), MaK VR's DI-Guy, DiSTI's GL Studio as well as an understanding of vehicle flight dynamics to support visual simulations. • Familiar with Game Engines - Specific experience with gaming technologies such as Unreal, CryEngine, Unity3D, and Prepar3D. Game engine certification (i.e. certified Unity Professional).
• Experience with Web based programming - HTML5, SQL, CSS, ASP, Ajax, WebGL, etc. • Experience with 3D Graphics Programming - GPGPU, OpenGL, DirectX, etc. • Comfortable with Programming Languages - C++, C#, Python, .Net, VB, XML, Perl, etc.
• Experience with system and server administration - AWS, Azure, etc. • Familiar with UI/UX.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
