+ Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
+ 10 years of experience working in a Consumer Electronic technical environment.
+ 3 years of experience in technical leadership in the Augmented Reality (AR)/Virtual Reality (VR) space.
+ Experience in microelectronics design, thermal design, opto-mechanical systems, and fabrication.
+ Experience in perception system design and integration.
+ Experience in design of AR/VR wearable consumer electronics.
+ Experience in Research and Development (R&D).
+ Ability to implement innovative technologies in consumer electronics products.
+ Ability to resolve complex systems into discrete variables/goals and communicate complex concepts at the component and system level.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $166,000-$262,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. + Drive system architecture with a focus on mechanical solutions to accommodate the latest technologies in AR/VR systems.
+ Provide expertise and contribute in areas including feasibility, reliability, materials, thermal mitigation, Radio Frequency, electromechanical, and optomechanical solutions.
+ Advanced material and processing techniques for cross disciplinary mechanical, optical, electrical system component development.
+ Be comfortable with rapid design iterations, conceptual and physical prototyping, drive subsystem specifications, understand the design limitations, and trade space parameters for multivariable issues.
+ Work with leads across disciplines to identify guidelines, trades, and requirements for system level component specifications.
