**Scope of Position:**
+ This entry-level internship position offers the opportunity to work with Augmented and Virtual Reality technologies to support both internal and external customers.
+ It involves supporting solutions, training customers on the technology, and offering opportunities to work with leading developers around value-added applications to benefit our business divisions.
+ Additionally, learning around how Corning plays a role in enabling this technology as well as uses this technology in various ways will be part of the internship while gaining business knowledge on how an IT function supports business functions.
+ Work directly with the AR/VR Principal Engineer to support business requirements
+ Participate in hardware and software development activities around AR/VR
+ Analyzes system requirements and business processes
+ Translate loosely defined requirements into solutions
+ Facilitate debug of issues across services, at all component levels
+ Use our agile toolchain service offering for your day-to-day activities and work to continually improve it
+ Creates prototypes, codes, tests, debugs, documents, and implements systems
+ Participate in technical meetings for internal and external representatives concerning specific operations or use of AR/VR technologies
**Education and Experience:**
+ Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, IT, IS, or equivalent area of technical study
+ 1+ years of experience developing apps, games, or AR/VR experiences
+ Understanding AR/VR technologies and the application of such technologies to solve business problems.
+ Proficiency with Unity, Unreal, or similar 3D engines
+ Understanding of 3D Models and ways to use those in AR/VR applications and hardware
+ Experience with hardware devices such HoloLens, Oculus, Realwear, etc.
+ Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Objective-C, etc.
Basic work hours: M-F, 8-5 preferred. Flex-time available.
