Extended Reality & Visualization Engineer

This Electric Vehicle company is looking for a Unreal Engine Artist.
Description: Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate VR lab design reviews using state-of-the-art equipment
  • Define processes and methods for VR lab-driven design reviews
  • Deploy new methods for visualizing digital assets
  • Interface with PLM, IT, Manufacturing, and Engineering to enable the utilization of digital assets in a new and innovative way for collaboration across company activities.

Qualifications

  • Experience writing code in python, C, and/or Java languages
  • Experience implementing and using 3D visualization tools such as VRED
  • Experience implementing and using Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, and Mixed Reality systems
  • Experience creating and importing 3D assets
  • Experience programming in game engines such as Unity and Unreal
  • Knowledge of CATIA, Enovia, or similar tools
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications and other information management tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A degree in Computer Science or equivalent skills and expertise.
  • An eagerness to work cross-functionally in a dynamic environment where you are part of a high-performing team.
