The DevOps Engineer will Design, Manage, and Implement various automated solutions relating to infrastructure, web applications, locally deployed code and AWS cloud services. Work closely with developers and vendors to achieve automation goals for a growing fleet of global, Location-Based VR sites. remotely or on-site as needed. Roles & Responsibilities Manage, Monitor designed Operational, Critical solutions Work to design and automate anything that can be automated Assist in decisions related to infrastructure or code Install, integrate, and maintain productivity tools to support the software development teams (Jenkins, Chef, Puppet, Jira, source control, etc.) Instrument monitoring solutions to gain insight into application performance and understand emerging issues Qualifications & Requirements Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or equivalent engineering experience Extensive Experience with software: Jenkins, Chef, Logstash, Elasticsearch. Experience with OSes: Windows, Linux, ESXi Expert scripting skills using programming languages such as: Python, Ruby, Bash, PowerShell Knowledge of PXE process, including custom init processes AWS Experience pertaining to EC2, VPC, Load balancers, S3, RDS, Packer, Ansible, Terraform, etc. Experience with High-Availability Database technologies: PostgreSQL, MySQL Extensive Experience with Monitoring Platforms such as Prometheus Experience with OSes: Windows, Linux, ESXi Experience with Workflow Support platforms such as Jira, Zendesk, Knowledge of PXE process, including custom init processes and technologies such as iSCSI, NFS, etc. Understanding of middleware, proxies and application integration #LI-JB2 Posted by: John Bellon
