**Summary:**

The primary responsibility of this position is to develop the category & sales channel strategy to drive share, sales, profit and loyalty for our portfolio of products including the VR family of devices. The Channel Strategy Manager - Performance, VR devices is charged with supporting the development of the go-to-channel strategy for our third party retail, direct-to-consumer, carrier, and B2B commercial channels. This includes planning and executing an end-to-end route to market approach for each of the categories throughout its lifecycle.

**Required Skills:**

Channel Strategy Manager - Performance, VR Devices Responsibilities:

1. Primarily responsible for supporting the go-to-channel strategy for VR headsets, refurb, and digital products intended for the third party retail, direct-to-consumer, carrier, and B2B commercial channels

2. Develop the pricing, promotional, operational, and sales strategy leveraging the principles defined by the Channel Strategy Manager - Performance, VR Platforms

3. Supports the VR-In Market Performance Platforms manager in creating and managing category strategies on a quarterly cadence & delivers category marketing presentations to executive teams and cross-functional partners

4. Influence and partner with cross-functional teams to drive VR device adoption through key initiatives and special projects

5. Deliver executive level understanding and awareness of distribution channel dynamics and strategic partner capabilities regarding the category and Meta VR products within it

6. Develop and align core KPIs, measurements and tactics alignment across cross-functional teams that achieve business objectives

7. Leverage sales analytics data to help with improving the efficiency of partner strategies and execution tactics

8. Work with our strategic partners and internal cross functional teams to plan the channel program/campaigns including providing guidelines to optimize sales, profit & improve ROI

9. Work with our strategic partners Operations and Sales teams to assess inventory allocation and demand planning inputs for seasonality, promotions and channel expansion

10. Drives strategic category thought leadership internally and with strategic partners at various levels from individual contributors to executives

11. Travel requirements: 20%

**Minimum Qualifications:**

12. Bachelor's degree

13. 5+ years of experience in Category Management, Merchandising, Product Marketing, Channel Marketing, Finance and Analytics or some relevant combination

14. Partner facing experience including resellers and large enterprise accounts

15. Confident communicator, with presentation skills and the experience to present to leadership levels

16. Experience understanding levers for driving change by channel, share and revenue in the category (e.g. on price, shelf presence, display, feature, promotions, convenience etc.)

17. Advanced skill with either Google Sheets and Slides or Excel and PowerPoint

19. Experience with hardware, supply chain and multiple channels preferred

20. Experience with multi-channel business, inclusive of consumer electronics retail, commercial, optical and direct to consumer channels across online

23. Experience precisely and proficiently conducting business and data analyses with data driven recommendations for improvements and advancements

24. Experience building various levels of key ongoing customer and organizational relationships

25. Exceptional problem solving, project and program management skills

26. Experience understanding, translating and mapping strategic business and competitive priorities into analysis and deliver insights

27. Deeply values collaboration and experience communicating across varied stakeholders and influence without authority

28. Experience dealing with ambiguity, navigating through uncertain situations and quickly adapt to change
