Our employees are not only part of history, but they're also making history. Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is looking for an Associate Engineer Virtual Reality located in Charlottesville, VA.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Incorporates standard engineering models and processes with game development hardware and engines. Fundamental processes include: being able to convert computer-aided design (CAD) models into light weight meshes for use in game engines, incorporating models into training/mission scenarios, programming, scene optimization and level design, and integrating all of this with mission hardware and team feedback. Has an extensive knowledge of virtual/augmented reality capabilities and trends.

Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree related to virtual reality with 0 experience; Associate with 2 years of experience; or 4 years of experience in lieu of degree.
* Experience using 3D solid modeling tools.
* Experience authoring augmented reality and virtual reality scenes.
* Experience using gaming engine SW (e.g., Unity)

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience using Siemens NX, TeamCenter, and SAP
* Authoring experience in Scope AR's WorkLink and/or PTC's Vuforia AR software

Salary Range: $60,600.00 - $91,000.00

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
